A player who commits any of the following offenses while the ball is in play shall be penalized by the referee rewarding a free direct kick to the opposing team at the point of the foul unless the foul occurs in the penalty box, then the ball will be placed on the top of the penalty arc.
a) Kicks an opponent
b) Trips an opponent
c) Charges an opponent from behind d) Strikes, elbows, or spits at an opponent. A time penalty will be assessed for any of these offenses. Spitting at an opponent calls for immediate ejection
e) Holds an opponent
f) Handle the ball (carries, strikes, or propels the ball with arms or hands).
g) Too many players on the field
h) Dangerous play
i) Obstruction
j) Slide tackling
k) Holding the boards
l) Spitting on the field (ejection)
m) Climbing on or over the boards (ejection)
n) Swearing (ejection)
o) Intentional boarding (ejection)
p) For every sixth penalty committed by the team (that did not result in a two or five minute penalty) there will be a two minute penalty assessed to the team and one player will be removed.
q) Unsportsmanlike conduct (referees discretion)
