Coed will play with a total of 6 players on the field. There will be at least 3 females (may include the goalie) on the field at all times - regardless of penalties.
A female on the offensive team must play the ball on their offensive half of the field before the ball will be allowed to be shot. If a female does not play the ball in their offensive half of the field, the ball will be turned over to the other team for a goal kick. Once a female player has played the ball on the offensive half then another female is not required to touch the ball until after the ball is knocked back into their defensive half of the field.
The overtime period is 3 minutes in length. There needs to be 3 players (including the goalie) on the field and one of them needs to be female. The over time will be started with a ball drop at midfield. The first team to score wins. If the score is tied at the end of the overtime period then the game will be called and it will end in a tie.
